As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 431 people, 144 households, and 110 families residing in the village. The population density was 1,131.5 people per square mile (437.9/km²). There were 155 housing units at an average density of 406.9 per square mile (157.5/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 83.76% White, 0.70% African American, 12.76% from other races, and 2.78% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 22.51% of the population.
There were 144 households out of which 45.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 56.9% were married couples living together, 15.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 23.6% were non-families. 18.8% of all households were made up of individuals and 10.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.99 and the average family size was 3.34.
